I'm a noob to drones (I'm an engineer and can handle electronics, linux & code just fine).
I'm waiting for a new receiver to be delivered, but am getting set up on my PXFMini what I can in the mean time.
Question: is it mandatory, or recommended that I use Mission Planner? Or is that something that should come when I know better what I'm doing?
I started installing MP, but stopped when it was asking to install firmware on my autopilot. Should I go ahead and plug in the USB and let it install firmware?
