I am having trouble getting my copter to arm motors using the radio controller. The APM 2 software says "PreArm: RC not calibrated" also I have tried to do a factory reset of the remote (Turnigy TGY-i6) and re-flashed a new sd-card and re-paired the remote with the receiver (TGY-iA6). I believe it is pared back together since I can see the TX and RX batteries on the controller again after the repairing process, also the led on the receiver turns on and dose not blink when the controller is on. The rc receiver is uses a PPM encoder which does not seem to have a part number...
With the controller paired when I try to arm by moving throttle to lower left nothing happens. And viewing the APM Planner which is connected via wifi I can see changes when i move the aircraft. however If I look in the initial setup under Radio calibration all bars are empty and remain that way as I move the sticks on the controller.
Any thoughts would be appreciated my intuition says maybe the encoder, but just getting started with the platform Im not sure where to look on the os for logs.
