When I attempt to calibrate my Radio Control I get an error "Radio Control is not active or turned on". In addition, I'm not able to control my drone with the controller either.
I'm in APM Planner 2.0 on my Ubuntu 16.04 machine, trying to control the Erle-Brain 3; I'm connecting wirelessly over the erle-brain hotspot.
I have a Turnigy 9X transmitter, and a FrSky D4-2 Receiver; I'm fairly certain those two are bound, as the green light on the transmitter is on, and I have previously been able to both calibrate the radio and control the drone using my current setup.
I have tried refreshing the parameters (under config/tuning) as suggested in previous threads, but to no avail.
I'm also fairly certain my controller is in the right mode; menu -> systems -> stick setup is on mode 2; menu --> systems --> type select is on heli. The front panel of the controller displays "Mode 1", and I've tried setting the radio mode under Radio Config on APM Planner to both Mode 1 and mode 2; neither works.
I'm 98% certain this isn't a wiring issue with the drone as I have gotten it to work previously, and have not changed the wiring since then, and both the drone battery and controller batteries are at full charge.
