Hi, I just stumbled upon the PXFMini during my project building an autonomous Solar Powered Rover and have a few questions.
1) Power Supply:
Has anyone experience combining the PXFmini with additional Raspberry Pi Hats/Shields especially UPSpico or MoPi?
My Rover will be powered by a 12-18Volts Solar Panel combined with a Solar Charger and a 12V Car Battery for night-backup. Raspberry and additional Shields will be powered either through a StepDown Converter or the Raspberry itself using either UPSpico or MoPi. Mopi would be preffered as it offers two wide Range Inputs one directly for SolarCell and the other for the LeadAcid Battery. Mopi will also shutdown the the Electronics if Backup Battery reaches a critical level and wake it up through a timer.
There the PXFmini will be responsible for the drivetrain and I just haven't found anything if this can be combined with my Power Supply. Initially I thought of using the Gertbot with two stepper motors in a tank like drivetrain combination but since having discovered the PXFmini i think that this will be a better solution with ROS system behind. (less need to programm individuall solutions)
Any thoughts/suggestions are welcome.
