I'm new to ROS,Gazebo and APM and I'm having a little bit of trouble following tutorial 2 as well. Each time I open APM planner I can't connect and I'm having trouble to figure it out on my own. I've tried changing the serial ports to 14560 and 7000 and I also tried the mavproxy alternative
mavproxy.py --master=127.0.0.1:14551 --out 127.0.0.1:7000
but my screen remains the same. Regarding my APM planner window, there are some differences to the one shown in the tutorial. I'm using the APM planer v2.0.23-rc1; I don't have the terminal button on top next to the Graphs buttons; instead of MAV001 on the top,I have MAVID and; right next to STATUS, I have MODE.
When I open APM through the terminal I also get these messages
I don't know if it's relevant to this problem I'm having.
I believe I've correctly launched the mavlink_bridge.launch file as well since it didn't give me any errors.
Could you kindly give me some help?
