Some progress made but perhaps I have a defective ESC on one of the motors. I am using Turnigy Multistar motors which are labelled CW and CCW and after some testing I had to cross the wires on the CW motors.
I don't have props to test with just the prop screws on top and I left them unscrewed a bit and when touching them briefly they self tightened which makes me believe I have everything wired and placed correctly.
I have a couple of videos to show which lead me to believe I have a defective ESC. The first is with channel/motors 5 and 6 wired as noted in the documentation. In some tests this ended up stopping both of these motors if the throttle was increased:
The second is with 5 and 6 switched on the PWM which consistently spins 5 of 6 motors each time it is armed and the throttle increased:
In both cases I noticed that the range of the throttle increased the spin rate to max during the smallest increase and then nothing higher with throttle maxed. Not sure why this is.
