I have just started using ros with no previous experience, and I wanted to simply follow steps here to get started:
But when I run catkin_make, I encounter errors. I searched around a lot and could not find my out.
I simply want to be able to have autonomous flights. such as "ros_erle_takeoff_land" example; modify it for my own missions, see the result on gazebo, before deploying it on erle.
I have Ubuntu 16.04, and my ros is kinetic. is there any incompatibility? I tried what I found on other topics on forum but no success.
Errors are such as this:
In file included from /usr/include/c++/5/cstdint:35:0,
/usr/include/c++/5/bits/c++0x_warning.h:32:2: error: #error This file requires compiler and library support for the ISO C++ 2011 standard. This support must be enabled with the -std=c++11 or -std=gnu++11 compiler options.
I tried finding some place to add the -std=c++11 but was not successful.
Another series of error I got were in regards the header files under mavros_msgs, included in the examples, were not found.
Any help would be appreciated.
