@LanderU, does the user 'erle' have full access to the OS? I'm trying to compile a driver and got this error:
erle@erle-brain:/var/tmp/rtl8812au $ make ARCH=arm
make ARCH=arm CROSS_COMPILE= -C /lib/modules/4.4.50-v7+/build M=/var/tmp/rtl8812au modules

According to this issue (https://github.com/gnab/rtl8812au/issues/70) it's an easy fix, but apparently I cannot 'cd' to root, or use 'su' with user erle.
