we've got a new Erle-Copter from you approximately one month ago. It already contains an Erlebrain 3. Unfortunately, we've got one problem: We can't get the GPS to work.
The green LED is on, the blue LED keeps blinking. When I use any GCS it reports that it doesn't see any satellite. I tried this at several locations, smartphones do report locations.
I tried to upgrade the linux distribution and also played with the startup scripts. I even got ArduPilot from git (dev version) and compiled and exchanged it with the original delivered. There is nothing special in the logs and when I output /dev/ttyAMA0 I can only sometimes see binary data.
What is puzzling me is when I check the baudrate of that port it is always changing, from 4800 Baud up to 230400 Baud. I think this is not really right.
I also tried to use socat and u-connect to connect to the GPS module through WLAN. That doesn't work either (I stopped the APM service for that and set the baudrate to different values manually, like 9800 baud or 38400 baud).
I tried it with a different gps module (Neo 7) but doesn't work either (though green LED is also on and blue LED is blinking).
Could you please tell me what could be wrong here?
And BTW: Whom could I contact for a system image (and which should I request)? We tried that already on your website but didn't get an answer.
