I have previously been able to connect to Erle-Brain 3 (Erle-Copter) using APM and the UDP link. That all works fine. However I'm having real difficulty connecting using serial telemetry radios.
I've gone through various posts and changed the apm.sh to include /dev/ttyS0 (as there is no ttyUSB0). Again this is following suggestions on posts. I have also changed the apm.sh to only use serial and GPS (-B) telemetry and APM does not connect.
i.e. I have set -A (primary telemetry) to serial. I have also not set -A and just had -B and -C. I have tried -A and -C both as serial. No change. APM does not connect.
I have also ran APM on both Linux and OS as I have a split partition. I have changed the raspi-config to allow boot access to serial.
So if these apm.sh commands are correct is the problem with the serial settings? Baud rate is 57600, but what else?
Parity? Stop bits?
Both radios are steady green, which I believe means no data is being received/sent but the units themselves are working. I have both radios connected via USB to laptop/Erle-Brain 3, as the Erle-Brain has GPS connected directly.
Any help would be appreciated.
