I was reading about sonars and found that apm have support to 3 ou 4.
How can i connect this sonars to the erle-brain3?
Thank you for your time.
Well @josegomes, the only way to have analog readings is to use the Power connector's ADC pins, as the sonars are analog there's no other place to connect it out.
Power connector is that one that says "power" in erlebrain3, right?
So it is possible to connect there the sonar?
The sonar has 3 cables (Voltage, Ground and Signal (i guess))... i connect the signal wire to CH0 from power connector?
In APM they put in the name I2C. Can't we connect there?
You could make that, but it is just a hw connection. You need to check APM to have access there.
I haven't tried a Digital Sonar, but if you have one, tried it.They one you own doesn't has I2C output.
I didn't understand very well. If i use an analog sonar, i just need to select "analog" in APM, right? Then i just make the connection like i said?
Anyway, i need to use this two componentes:
https://www.sparkfun.com/products/8504 (sonar to maintain altitude with APM)
Can i connect the sonar and 4 to 8 infrareds to the erlebrain?
Yes from HW, but I suspect that in APM is not activated for our products.Check the params, you might need to enable or change some.
This sonars are also analogs... Check the datasheet.
